This wine is obtained by a careful selection of Asprinio grapes grown predominantly in sandy soil, with good superficial permeability, almost exclusively of volcanic genesis near the city of Caserta. The farming system is Sylvouz and Alberate Aversane, employed giving a yield of 80 qg/ha. The harvest takes place during last decade of September, first decade of October.
The grapes are harvested by hand and conferred to the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Thereafter the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 3 months; It is then aged in the bottle for 2 months.

Asprinio is a unique etruscan wine. The twelve-metre tall wines rise up along with poplar trees, bringing to life the so-called «maritata». Revered by the Anjou monarchs, this fabulous wine is preserved in ancient tuff caves. It has a straw yellow color with the typical green veins. It is a wine dry to the palate, mineral and with exceptional acidity. Ideal for pairing with seafood, cold appetizer and mozzarella cheese. Serving temperature 8-10 °C.
